HeartSaver® First Aid/CPR/AED (American Heart Association)

This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements and covers first aid basics and CPR and AED skills for adults, children, and infants. This course will also meet TX Health & Human Services requirements for Child Care Workers and Geriatric Care. You will learn the skills needed to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until EMS arrives.

Cost & Time Requirements

This course costs $40 per person

*Space is limited to 15 people, so sign up quickly.

The course typically takes between 3 to 3.5 hours to complete and will be hosted at the Frisco West Municipal Building at 1230 Brendan Drive beginning at 10 am.

 

What you will learn:

  • Adult, Child & Infant CPR and First Aid
  • One and Two Rescuer
  • Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (conscious and unconscious) (choking)
  • Use of Automated External Defibrillation with CPR (AED)
  • Special Resuscitation Situations
